The Law requires all early years settings to have policies and procedures in place to protect your children, you and staff.
At Lisa’s Childcare we have comprehensive policies and procedures in place, including detailed risk assessments, which are reviewed and updated annually. All parents are advised to read the policies on starting Lisa’s Childcare. It is essential that parents adhere to our policies as this enables everyone to understand expectations of the setting from the beginning.
Where the term ‘Parents’ has been used it refers to anyone in the role of the parent, carer or guardian bringing his or her child to childcare.
As a registered childminding setting, we are inspected by Ofsted as dictated by the Children’s Act 1989 (and 2004).
Our Official certificate of registration is on view for parents to see, as is our public liability and Employers Insurance Liability certificates.
Lisa’s Childcare is also in receipt of NEG funding for all eligible children (2-4 years old) and therefore legally we must ensure that we are working within Cheshire East’s County Council framework, where we have to abide by certain conditions and regulations.
